Brett has had a busy year with Tennis Channel. In January, Brett was part of the network's team in Melbourne broadcasting the 100th Australian Open. Brett joined Bill Macatee, Martina Navratilova, Tracy Austin & Justin Gimelstob in bringing American viewers over 100 hours of coverage from Melbourne Park.
Brett followed up his stint in Oz by calling the memorable first round Davis Cup tie between the United States in Switzerland in February. The weekend in Fribourg included John Isner's stunning upset of 16-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer on clay. Brett and Justin Gimelstob called the historic match.
In addition, Brett has been part of Tennis Channel's coverage of nearly two-dozen events in 2012, including Roland Garros and the US Open. In New York, Brett teamed with tennis legend Tracy Austin to co-host the network's inaugural pre-game show entitled "Live at the US Open". The show was a smash hit. Brett Named to NBC Olympic Broadcast Team


This summer, Brett was honored to be named as the lead play-by-play announcer for NBC's coverage of the tennis competition at the London 2012 Olympics. Brett was part of the landmark coverage that spanned 4 different networks and brought the historic competition at the All-England Clun to tens-of-millions of viewers back in the States. Brett was joined by Justin Gimelstob, Rennae Stubbs, Jon Wertheim, Andrew Catalon and Pat O'Brien on NBC's tennis coverage at the games. "It was one of the great thrills and honors of my career to become part of NBC's Olympic family," said Brett upon returning from London.

Brett Makes Golf Channel Debut as Guest Host of "Morning Drive"
In July, Brett swapped tennis for golf as Golf Channel tapped him to be one of the guest hosts of their wake-up chat show "Morning Drive". Brett joined Rex Hoggard and Holly Somders
in Golf Channel's Orlando studios to anchor the two-hour morning program. Brett showed his versatility slipping seemlessly into the unscripted show, leading informative conversations with some of the biggest names in golf. Brett became the first on-air personality to host a program on both Tennis Channel and Golf Channel in the history of the two networks.
Brett Barnstorms with Powershares Series
In the fall of 2012, Brett will serve his 7th year as the voice of the Powershares Tennis Series. This is the global tennis tour for stars 30 and over. This year's tour is headlined by Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Ivan Lendl, Michael Chang and others. Brett Renews Agreement with Nike Tennis, Begins Second Decade with Iconic Brand
This August, Brett renewed his agreement with Nike to continue as a consultant and spokesman for the iconic American brand's tennis category. Brett is now in his 11th year with Nike Tennis. He hosts various public events for Nike, including exhibitions, clinics, product launches, promotional events and grassroots initiatives to help promote widespread youth fitness and patricipation in tennis.
